Wow, what a rush! We actually won the top prize at Startup Weekend! Thank you judges and organizers of Startup Weekend for putting together a life changing event. We can't thank you enough, and most importantly thank you to the entire EnglEasy team for putting in some pretty long days to get this done.

Wow, what a fun weekend! It was great experience working with you all: Ahmed, Laura, Winnie, Christina, Aaron, Walter, Dhiren.
ReplyDeleteLots of great ideas from all of you! Working on language tech, I always believe we could create killer apps for education using speech and language technologies.
The Android voice app and WordPOP! Tetris are just the beginning. It is unbelievable what a bunch of enthusiatists could achieve over a weekend! Let us keep going!!
Great job guys!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from El Salvador, first I want to congratulate every member of the group for such an excellent project, I am sure it will be a success.
ReplyDeleteIn recent years I have constantly wondered why with so much technology, many tanks, continue to use traditional teaching methods that ignore the technological environment in which we are immersed, I think it is within this context in which your project assumes great relevance and a great opportunity for development
Many successes and always forward
Sincerely,
Ricardo Monterroza
This was such an amazing weekend!
ReplyDeleteChristina Mantel and I stopped by the Startup Weekend mixer on Friday not knowing what to expect. After hearing the pitches that evening and learning more about the event, we decided to participate in the entire weekend's activities. Who would have known that a last minute networking event turned into such an incredible experience, working on such a meaningful goal! We are now here to transform the way kids (and adults) learn.
Go team! You are all such amazing individuals!
